Add an AI support chat widget to Bolt
Your Bolt app answers its own visitors while you keep building. One message in Bolt's chat adds the bubble, and the bot answers from your app's public pages, so the pricing, how-it-works and what-happens-next questions stop landing in your inbox.
Try it on your site, no signup About 1 minute to install. No code to write.
How VibeCS works on Bolt
- 1.Paste your site's address into the dashboard. VibeCS crawls your public pages and builds the bot from them. Nothing to upload, no training data.
- 2.Ask it the questions your customers ask. Pick a tone: friendly or direct. Adjust the color to match your brand.
- 3.Paste the snippet into index.html, through the Bolt chat or Code view. The chat bubble appears on your site and answers from your pages only.
Where to paste the snippet in Bolt
- 1.Open your project in Bolt.
- 2.In the chat, type: "Add this script tag just before </body> in index.html:" and paste the VibeCS snippet after it. Or open Code view and paste it there yourself.
- 3.When Bolt finishes, click Publish in the top-right corner, then Publish again. If the site is already live, choose Update instead.
The sentence to type. Paste your snippet right after it.
Add this script tag just before </body> in index.html:
The snippet is one line. The dashboard generates yours with your site's own id:
<script src="https://cs-vibe.com/widget/v1.js" data-site-id="your-site-id" data-persona="buddy"></script>What the bot can answer
- Anything on your public pages: pricing, hours, policies, how-tos, product details, contact options.
- In your words. It answers from your content and doesn't invent policies you don't have.
- At any hour, on every page where the snippet runs, on phones and desktops.
- When it doesn't know, it says so and points the visitor to you. On Pro it offers to take their email.
- It re-reads your site every week, so updates to your pages reach the bot on their own.
Questions people ask before installing
- Do I have to edit code?
- No. Paste the snippet into Bolt's chat with the sentence from the steps above and Bolt edits index.html for you. If you'd rather see it, open Code view and paste it on the line above </body>.
- My app lives on a free bolt.host address. Does that matter?
- No. The widget runs on any address, the free one or your own domain. Paste the address visitors use into the dashboard, because that's where the bot reads your pages.
- Do I need a developer?
- No. You paste one line of code into index.html, through the Bolt chat or Code view. If you'd rather not, the dashboard can email the exact steps and the snippet to whoever manages your Bolt app.
- What does it cost?
- $8 a month for the base plan, $12 a month for Pro, which adds an inbox of every conversation, lead capture when the bot can't answer and a weekly digest, or $99 once for everything in Pro, guaranteed for at least a year. Agencies building client sites can cover up to 20 of them for $49 a month. You can test the bot on your site before paying.
- Will it slow down my Bolt app?
- No. The widget is one small script that loads after your page, and the chat itself runs on our servers.
- What happens when it doesn't know the answer?
- It says so and points the visitor to you instead of guessing. On Pro it offers to take their email so you can follow up.
See it answer questions about your Bolt app
Paste your address, wait for the crawl, ask it five questions. If it does well, go live for $8 a month or $99 once. If it doesn't, you've lost three minutes.
