Add an AI support chat widget to Cursor apps
Your Cursor-built site answers visitor questions while you ship the next feature. One line in the layout, added by Cursor's agent, and the bot answers from your own pages at any hour.
How VibeCS works on Cursor apps
- 1.Paste your site's address into the dashboard. VibeCS crawls your public pages and builds the bot from them. Nothing to upload, no training data.
- 2.Ask it the questions your customers ask. Pick a tone: friendly or direct. Adjust the color to match your brand.
- 3.Paste the snippet into the template that wraps every page, through Cursor's chat. The chat bubble appears on your site and answers from your pages only.
Where to paste the snippet in Cursor apps
- 1.Open your project in Cursor.
- 2.In the chat, type: "Add this script tag just before </body> in the template that wraps every page:" and paste the VibeCS snippet after it. Cursor finds the file: index.html on Vite, app/layout.tsx on Next.js, the base layout elsewhere.
- 3.Deploy the way you normally do.
Add this script tag just before </body> in the template that wraps every page:
The snippet is one line. The dashboard generates yours with your site's own id:
<script src="https://cs-vibe.com/widget/v1.js" data-site-id="your-site-id" data-persona="buddy"></script>Or install the VibeCS skill once, from your project folder
npx skills add esclyme1981/vibecs-pluginIt installs the skill for Cursor and other agents. Then ask Cursor to add the VibeCS support chat and paste your snippet.
What the bot can answer
- Anything on your public pages: pricing, hours, policies, how-tos, product details, contact options.
- In your words. It answers from your content and doesn't invent policies you don't have.
- At any hour, on every page where the snippet runs, on phones and desktops.
- When it doesn't know, it says so and points the visitor to you. On Pro it offers to take their email.
- It re-reads your site every week, so updates to your pages reach the bot on their own.
Questions people ask before installing
- Do I have to find the file myself?
- No. Ask in the chat and Cursor finds the file that wraps every page: index.html on Vite, app/layout.tsx on Next.js, the base layout on Astro, Rails or Django. One place, so the bubble loads once.
- Which address do I train the bot on?
- The one visitors use. The bot reads the live pages at that address, so deploy first, train it in the dashboard, then add the snippet.
- Is there a shortcut?
- Yes. The command above installs the VibeCS skill once; then ask Cursor to add the support chat and paste your snippet.
- Do I need a developer?
- No. You paste one line of code into the template that wraps every page, through Cursor's chat. If you'd rather not, the dashboard can email the exact steps and the snippet to whoever manages your Cursor app.
- What does it cost?
- $8 a month for the base plan, $12 a month for Pro, which adds an inbox of every conversation, lead capture when the bot can't answer and a weekly digest, or $99 once for everything in Pro, guaranteed for at least a year. Agencies building client sites can cover up to 20 of them for $49 a month. You can test the bot on your site before paying.
- Will it slow down my Cursor app?
- No. The widget is one small script that loads after your page, and the chat itself runs on our servers.
- What happens when it doesn't know the answer?
- It says so and points the visitor to you instead of guessing. On Pro it offers to take their email so you can follow up.

Paste your address, wait for the crawl, ask it five questions. If it does well, go live for $8 a month or $99 once. If it doesn't, you've lost three minutes.
