Add an AI support chat widget to Squarespace
Squarespace is home to studios, restaurants, consultants and shops, where most questions are about hours, availability, prices and policies. Those answers are on your pages already; VibeCS turns them into a chat bubble that replies at any hour. Code Injection makes the install a two-minute job.
Try it on your site, no signup About 2 minutes to install. No code to write.
How VibeCS works on Squarespace
- 1.Paste your site's address into the dashboard. VibeCS crawls your public pages and builds the bot from them. Nothing to upload, no training data.
- 2.Ask it the questions your customers ask. Pick a tone: friendly or direct. Adjust the color to match your brand.
- 3.Paste the snippet into Settings, Advanced, Code Injection. The chat bubble appears on your site and answers from your pages only.
Where to paste the snippet in Squarespace
- 1.From the home menu go to Settings, then Advanced, then Code Injection.
- 2.Paste the VibeCS snippet into the Footer box.
- 3.Click Save. Reload your site to see the chat bubble.
Code Injection is available on Squarespace's Business plan and up.
The snippet is one line. The dashboard generates yours with your site's own id:
<script src="https://cs-vibe.com/widget/v1.js" data-site-id="your-site-id" data-persona="buddy"></script>What the bot can answer
- Anything on your public pages: pricing, hours, policies, how-tos, product details, contact options.
- In your words. It answers from your content and doesn't invent policies you don't have.
- At any hour, on every page where the snippet runs, on phones and desktops.
- When it doesn't know, it says so and points the visitor to you. On Pro it offers to take their email.
- It re-reads your site every week, so updates to your pages reach the bot on their own.
Questions people ask before installing
- Which Squarespace plan do I need?
- Code Injection is available on Squarespace's Business plan and up. On a Personal plan you can switch to Business or route the snippet through Google Tag Manager.
- Will it clash with Squarespace's own form or chat blocks?
- No. The bubble sits bottom-right on its own and doesn't touch your blocks. Most people keep the contact form and let the bot handle the questions that come before it.
- Do I need a developer?
- No. You paste one line of code into Settings, Advanced, Code Injection. If you'd rather not, the dashboard can email the exact steps and the snippet to whoever manages your Squarespace site.
- What does it cost?
- $8 a month for the base plan, $12 a month for Pro, which adds an inbox of every conversation, lead capture when the bot can't answer and a weekly digest, or $99 once for everything, forever. You can test the bot on your site before paying.
- Will it slow down my Squarespace site?
- No. The widget is one small script that loads after your page, and the chat itself runs on our servers.
- What happens when it doesn't know the answer?
- It says so and points the visitor to you instead of guessing. On Pro it offers to take their email so you can follow up.
